or inside one of the world's largest extinct volcanic craters? Have you ever dreamed of seeing with your own eyes the settlements of primitive man or treading the impassable tracks of the Silk Road? Do you want to meet the dawn among the ruins of ancient towns and feel the spirit of pagan gods? If yes, join us and let us travel on foot, which except the feeling of the tired body will give you the feeling of flight over the time.

Camping tour programs have been designed to suit those who wish to combine good camping, beautiful scenery, spectacular sights and the incredibly varied and attractive architectural landmarks of Armenia. So, if you are ready to try, join us.

Group size: Recommended group size is 2-12. 
Difficulty: All our camping programs involve physical activity. Tours, which involve climbing, are available, however previous experience is recommended. 
Catering: For camping programs, complete meals feature market fresh Armenian foods. Food for vegetarians can be provided on any trip with advanced notice.
Equipment: We provide general camping and technical equipment. A detailed list of recommended clothing, footwear and suggested personal equipment is available.
Route Changes: It is possible that a route change could be necessary due to inclement weather. This will always be at the discretion of the group leader. 
Customer tailored trips: If you inform us in advance, we would be happy to insert minor changes in the programmed activities or to organise a trip tailored to your needs.

Day 1-2: Arriving at Zvartnots airport. Transfer to Yerevan. Time for leisure. Lunch. Excursions to Erebuny fortress and museum (782 BC), History Museum. Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 3: Visit to Sardarapat Museum of Ethnography , Etchmiadzin, the Cathedral (303 AD), Gayane (7th c.) and Hripsime (7th c.) churches. Lunch in the restaurant. Zvartnots temple (7th c.). Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 4: Driving to Hamberd castle (7 -13th cc.) and Lake Karalich (3200 m). Lunch - picnic. Starting the hiking to the mountain pass between the Southern and the Western peaks (3500 m). Camping. Hiking 9 km. 
Day 5: Ascending the Western (4080 m) and the Southern (3617 m) peaks. Descending towards the camping base. Hiking 7 km. 
Day 6: Ascending the Northern (4095 m) and the Eastern (3950 m) peaks, descending towards the camping place. Hiking 11 km. 
Day 7: Descending towards Aragats village. Hiking 20 km. Driving to Yerevan, dinner, overnight at the hotel in Yerevan. 
Day 8: Driving to the Northern Armenia. Visit to Haghpat monastery (10 -13th cc.), lunch - picnic. Sanahin monastery (10-13th cc.), hiking (1,5km) to Kobayr abandoned monastery (12-13th cc.), driving to Dilijan. Dinner and overnight in hotel near Lake Sevan. 
Day 9: Transportation to Tsakhkashen village. Hiking towards the foot of mount Azhdahag. Basing in the camp. Hiking 15 km. 
Day 10: Hiking to the south face of mount Azhdahag. Basing in the camp. Ascending and descending the top of Azhdahag (3597 m). Hiking 12 km. 

Day 11: Hiking to the mountain pass between Spitakasar and Pokr Spitakasar mountains. Camping at the pass (3126 m). Hiking 10 km. 
Day 12: Ascending the top of Spitakasar (3555,7 m), descending towards the river Azat to the camp of shepherds, camping. Hiking 16 km. 
Day 13: Hiking across the plateau toward Kakavaberd medieval fortress (10th-c.) descending to the canyon of river Azat. Camping near the abandoned village Kaladibi. Hiking 14 km. 
Day 14: Hiking towards Garni village along the river Azat. Hiking 18 km. Visit to the pagan temple of Mithra (I AD). Driving to Geghard monastery (12-13th-cc.), transportation to Yerevan, overnight.
Day 15: Time for leisure. Visits to Matenadaran state depository of ancient manuscripts and the museum of Sergey Paradjanov.
Day 16: Transfer to the airport. Departure.

Day 1: Driving to Karalich Lake (3200 m), starting hiking to the Southern (3897m) and Western (4008m) tops. Camping and dinner in the crater near the pass (3600 m) between Western and Southern tops. Hiking 11km. 
Day 2: Breakfast. Ascending the Northern (4095 m) peak, lunch at the slope of the Northern, descending towards the crater to the pass, descending down to Karalich Lake. Hiking 15 km. Transfer to Yerevan. Visit Hamberd castle on the way back.

Day 1: Driving to Hamberd castle, sightseeing the complex, continue to Karalich Lake (3200 m). Lunch. Starting the hiking to the Southern top (3897m), then descending to the mountain pass between the Southern and Western tops (3600 m). Camping and dinner. Hiking 8 km. 
Day 2: Breakfast. Ascending the Northern (4095 m) and eastern (3950 m) peaks, lunch at the saddle, descending towards the crater, camping and dinner at the same place. Hiking 8 km. 
Day 3: Breakfast. Ascending the Western peak (4008 m). Descending to Karalich Lake. Lunch on the way. Hiking 11km.Driving to Yerevan.

Day 1: Driving to the village Urtsadzor, to the former summer- houses. Starting the hiking along the river Khosrov to the plateau. Descending along the Darband River to the place of confluence of the rivers Darband and Azat. Overnight in the tents. Hiking 13 km. 
Day 2: Walking along the gorge of Azat river. Visiting the abandoned medieval village in the natural grotto. Sightseeing the medieval cell-church (7th c.). Dinner at the same camp base. Walking nearly 7-8 km. 
Day 3: Hiking Kakavaberd abandoned fortress (10th c), passing through the plateau of the river Karasu towards the valley near the village Gilanlar. Camping near the monastery of Surb Stepanos monastery (11 -12th cc.). Hiking 14 km. 
Day 4: Hiking Havuts-Tar monastery (10th c.) and Garni village. Hiking 12 km. Driving to Yerevan.

Day 2: Hiking the mount Karkatar (3392m), traverse, lunch, reaching the springs near the nameless top (3356m), basing the camp, ascending the top, descending, dinner and overnight in the tent. Hiking 13km.
Day 3: Descending to the South- West to the ruins of monastery Tsakhats- Kar, lunch, continue to the Smbataberd fortress, descending towards the Alayaz village, visit the Zorats church, and the churches of the village. Hiking 16km. Driving to Yerevan, visiting on the way to monasteries of Noravank and Khor Virap.

Day 2: Driving to the village Lernashen. Visits on the way the monument in village Aghitu and Vorotnavank monastery. Lunch- picnic. Starting the hiking in the direction of Eshak Meydan Mountain pass, dinner and overnight near the pass. Hiking 14 km.
Day 3: Ascending the pass (3016m), reaching the top of Mt. Aramazd (3399 m), traverse, descending Gyazbul mountain pass (2717 m), passing the range, descending along the power lines towards Verin Giratakh village. Dinner and overnight in the forest. Hiking 22 km. (the program of this day could be done in two days because of the bad weather on the range).
Day 4(5): Reaching Nerkin Giratakh village, driving through Kapan town, lunch in the restaurant on the way, visits Yeritsavank monastery, driving to Tatev monastery, dinner and overnight in the hotel in Sissian. Hiking 7 km.
Day 5(6): Driving to Yerevan visits on the way to Gndevank monastery and medieval churches in village
Alayaz.

Day 2: Driving through Tashtun Mountain pass to the Kaler village. Starting the hiking and ascending the pass (2752 m), reaching the Mt. Moushlandouz (2421 m) near the Shishkert village, lunch on the way, dinner and overnight on the S-W slope of the mountain. Hiking 11 km.
Day 3: Ascending the Mt. Khustup (3201 m), traverse in the direction of Verin Vachagan village, dinner and overnight in the forest. Hiking 14 km.
Day 4: Descending towards the village Verin Vachagan, Hiking 9 km. Driving to the Yeritsavank monastery, lunch on the way, visit the Karahunge observatory (5-th mil. B.C.), dinner and overnight in the hotel in Sissan town.
Day 5: Driving to Yerevan visiting on the way Tatev and Gndevank monasteries. Lunch on the way, dinner and overnight in the hotel in Yerevan.



Tsghuk Mountain
